In the three years they have been open, owners Leon and Kayla Glaser created a little oasis on their property, located at 155 Lower Garden Valley Road, filled with family fun, delicious wood fired pizza, a variety of delectable wine, and beer on tap. Their covered patio is comfortably heated with propane and is a recent extension of their outdoor entertainment space. The First Baby Bison of 2018 at North Buffalo Ranch
We finally spotted the little newborn and first calf born in 2018 on Wednesday morning at North Buffalo Ranch. The newest member of the herd was born last Saturday but was missing since. It is very common that after the baby is born, Momma will hide the newborn while she learns to clean, feed, and take care of her calf. After the baby is strong, their bond has been formed, and baby smells like Mom, she will introduce the calf to the herd. In honor of this new mother, and all the Mom’s out there we wish you a very Happy Mother’s Day! North Buffalo Ranch hopes to see you Saturday at the Umpqua Valley Farmers’ Market today from 9am-1pm!

Working with North Buffalo Ranch provided an opportunity for this awesome footage. Here we see a real bison herd during its feeding time. A couple of the bison were very curious about the drone (a DJI Mavic Pro, btw) and kept a cautious eye out. This video was created and edited with Adobe Premiere Pro CC, After Effects CC, Adobe Illustrator CC, music compliments of Cullaha’s Western Firefight 2, and Outro created with Garageband.
